PT, to our Center as a full time Physical Therapist as of October 26th.
Brenda, a lifelong resident of Bergen County, received a B.S in Physical
Therapy from Quinnipiac College (now Quinnipiac University). Brenda began her
career as a staff Physical Therapist at Hackensack University Medical Center,
where she gained extremely valuable clinical experience and established
excellent relationships with various disciplines and specialty areas.
The clinical experience she obtained at HUMC has served her well in all her
other professional endeavors. Brenda has worked in outpatient clinics,
physician practices, sub- acute facilities and acute rehabilitation. Recently
Brenda worked in the acute rehabilitation division at Kessler Institute in
Saddle Brook. Her career has extended to working as a case manager for physical
therapy benefits, where she acted as an advocate for physical therapists and
their patients working through the bureaucratic hoops of insurance to assure
that patients received the care they needed.
While Brenda’s experience is diverse, her main focus has been on orthopedic
rehab and she has worked closely with orthopedists since she began her career.
Brenda continues to enhance her knowledge in all areas of her field through
continuing education courses and real life experiences. Brenda enjoys
volunteering her services outside of work and has donated time to many
charitable causes, including as a PT for the annual Susan G. Komen 3 Day Breast
Cancer walk.
Brenda is passionate about her chosen profession and is dedicated foremost to
ensuring the highest level of quality patient care. Brenda believes that by
sharing her knowledge, she can make a difference in the lives of her patients
