Consultation
On your first visit to our office in The Spine & Health Center, Montvale NJ you will be welcomed as a member of our family and our receptionist will greet you with a warm smile. You will then be asked to fill out our required forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition.
One of the doctors will then talk with you and ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. If Dr. Peter E. Wohl can help you, the doctor will let you know. If Dr. Peter E. Wohl cannot help you, you will be referred to another doctor in the area that will be able to help you the most. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Examination
After a thorough consultation in our Spine & Health Center office with the doctor, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurological, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures.
X-ray
X-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis. Our equipment is state of the art for imaging.
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will give you a report of findings and tell you recommendations for treatment.
Treatment
Most of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment. Our special gentle yet effective alignment of the body is interactive with the patient, gentle enough for kids (they love us), yet able to restore function and movement for the athlete and senior.
Insurance and Financing
After your initial examination and consultation a representative from our finance department will meet with you to discuss the following payment options based on the doctor’s recommendations for treatment.
Wohl Chiropractic has financing options. These are provided by a finance company and available to patients, based on the person's credit criteria. Typically there is usually a minimal credit requirement to get approved within minutes. Some of the plans offered by the finance company may include no interest for up to 4 years and minimal monthly payments.
Wohl Chiropractic does accept insurance for some procedures performed. Unfortunately, some procedures like MUA may not be covered in your policy. While you may have to pay us directly for our services, some insurance companies may reimburse us for part or all of your therapy. In cases were you may have to submit claims yourself, we will make every effort to supply you and your company with copies of all paperwork including your examination s, daily notes, an itemized billing statement and a letter from our physicians stating why they should cover these procedures.
